Position:Social Media Strategist

Who we are looking for:
The Connections Lead, Social, oversees the development of social strategy for multiple client teams and exists to work toward acquiring new social business relationships and expanding existing social client relationships. The Lead embodies and supports the vision and strategic direction of the Connections department and plays an important role of the account leadership team from a social perspective. This role is also expected to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues from other practices to develop streamlined systems and processes that provide a consistent experience across disciplines.
Responsibilities:
Manage the flow of client social-related issues and create solutions to resolve problems when they arise
Embody integrated connections planning approach by working closely with the creative team and other connections practices to drive innovation
Contribute to and present in new business pitches as needed
Own the relationships with our social media channel representatives to deliver best in class work
Partner with the creative team to unlock the best creative ideas by bringing the best platforms, partners and influencers to the table
Bring appropriate new technologies and capabilities to the ideation conversation
Regularly meet with social platform and emerging media industry reps to develop and maintain expertise on the technologies and capabilities available in the market that teams can leverage
Provide professional development and coaching to direct reports, and to help lead the practice to achieving its mission and vision
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities including public speaking and presenting
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
10+ yrs of social media experience within an agency environment
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or relevant field preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong understanding of paid and earned social media
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead across multi-office internal agency environment and multi-agency external client engagements
Working knowledge of basic HTML, excel, and Keynote/PowerPoint
Facebook Blueprint certification
Twitter Flight School certification
