About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Strategist to lead our social media initiatives. This individual will create and execute data-driven social media strategies aligned with our marketing goals, engaging our audience across platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a self-starter attitude, given the independent nature of the role within our team.

EXPERIENCE

Duties you'll be entrusted with:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Conduct audience research to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and user personas.
  • Generate and oversee engaging content ideas (text, visuals, videos) tailored to platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure visually appealing and brand-consistent content.
  • Schedule and manage content publication across various platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Engage with followers, manage online reputation, and foster community growth.
  • Stay informed on social media trends and integrate best practices.
  • Maintain a content calendar and report key metrics and insights to the marketing team.

Expectations from you:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in social media strategy within creative or social media agencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to present ideas effectively.
  • Proficient in design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) at an intermediate level.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of audience personas, content strategy, and community engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially in design and marketing.
  • Interest in using AI and automation tools for efficient execution.
  • Experience working with D2C brands is a plus
