Job Responsibilities:As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to enhance Safarwallahs social media presence, build brand awareness, and engage with our audience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals to drive brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor trends in social media, adventure travel, and content creation to keep Safarwallahs presence fresh and relevant.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create visually stunning, high-quality posts, videos, and stories that resonate with our audience.
- Plan and manage the content calendar to ensure timely posts that reflect ongoing trekking events, packages, and seasonal promotions.
- Engagement & Community Building:
- Engage with our audience through comments, messages, and interactive content (polls, quizzes, contests) to foster a sense of community.
- Build relationships with influencers, adventure enthusiasts, and travel communities to amplify our reach.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to promote treks, offers, and special events.
- Track and analyze the performance of campaigns, using insights to adjust strategies and optimize performance.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Use analytics tools to measure key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions) and create detailed reports for management.
- Stay informed about competitors strategies and industry changes to stay ahead of trends and refine our social media approach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and trekking teams to ensure brand consistency across all content.
- Provide feedback to enhance customer interaction and align social media efforts with broader marketing goals.
Qualifications & Skills Required:- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience managing social media for a brand, ideally in the travel, adventure, or outdoor sectors.
- Skills:
- Proven experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
- Expertise in social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand copy.
- Creativity in developing compelling visual and video content.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track and improve performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of SEO and its role in social media growth.
