Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to lead our social media efforts. The ideal candidate will deeply understand social media platforms, trends, and analytics. He/She will manage our social media presence, ensure brand consistency, and drive engagement and growth. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker who can collaborate across departments and contribute to the digital marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and enhances brand visibility.
- Perform in-depth research on current benchmark trends, audience preferences, and industry innovations to inform strategy and content creation.
- Develop and manage a content calendar that ensures consistent and timely posting across all social media platforms.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging and original content daily, including text, photos, videos, and other multimedia.
- Oversee the creative development and design of social media assets, including profile pictures, cover photos, and layout updates.
- Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to produce high-quality, on-brand content that resonates with our audience.
- Analytics & Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, including SEO and web traffic, to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize content, improve engagement, and increase followership.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Community Management:
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback on social platforms, addressing issues and ensuring a positive brand experience.
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and brand advocates to amplify reach and engagement.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with community, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency and align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
- Suggest and implement new features, such as promotions, competitions, and interactive content, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Innovation & Trend Awareness:
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Experiment with new content formats, platforms, and strategies to keep the brand at the forefront of social media innovation.
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement in social media presence and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Senior Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing external vendors or agencies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in paid social media advertising.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Proven track record of growing social media followings and increasing engagement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
