Job Description
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for leading our social media strategy and execution across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You will oversee the main channel, ensuring consistent brand messaging, engaging content, and effective campaigns to enhance our online presence and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Develop and execute social media strategies for marketing special events.
Manage and maintain the Pages on Instagram & Facebook, and the main channel on LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Create and curate engaging content including text, image, video and short video formats tailored to each platform and audience.
Analyse and interpret social media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and initiatives, and provide actionable insights for optimisation.
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate innovative ideas into our strategy.
Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists to ensure high-quality content creation, effective execution of campaigns and optimal organic and paid promotions for campaigns.
Set-up and manage social media tools for scheduling, analysing metrics and social listening.
Manage influencer marketing and maintain relations with influencers catering to travel, international travel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience of over 3 years in leading social media management and 5+ years overall.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful social media strategies that drive engagement and achieve business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage creatives (including images and videos) and copy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation to inform decision-making.
Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
