Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage and promote our social media channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal presence on platforms like Quora and Reddit, Facebook, etc. and be willing to share content about SoInspiring.com through their personal social media accounts. This role is work-from-home with flexible hours but requires consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Account Profiles:

• Setup and manage our social media profiles across all major platforms.

Content Curation & Scheduling:

• Curate the most engaging and shareable content for each respective platform from amongst the vast quantity of quotes and memes available on our site
• Identify large groups and sub-communities that resonate with our content
• Create and maintain a content sharing strategy and social media calendar.
• Schedule posts to ensure consistent online presence.

Personal Account Integration:

• Utilize personal social media accounts on sites like Quora and Reddit to promote SoInspiring.com.
• Share updates and content about SoInspiring.com through personal networks to increase reach and engagement.

Community Engagement:

• Interact with followers, respond to comments, and engage in relevant conversations to build a strong community.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Monitor social media performance metrics.
• Provide regular reports on engagement, growth, and other key indicators.

Qualifications

Experience:

Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations and/or personal projects.

Skills:

In-depth understanding of all social media platforms, including Quora and Reddit.

Excellent content curation skills for diverse communities and contexts

Ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies.

Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

Personal Attributes:

Active and engaging personal presence on social media platforms.

Creative mindset with the ability to select the right content to encourage sharing.

Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.

Passion for Inspirational Content:

A deep appreciation and passion for quotes and sayings, with the ability to curate and create inspirational content that resonates with audiences.

Preferred:

Ideal for those seeking work-from-home, flexible working hours and the ability to work from any location (e.g. parents, graduate students, people returning to hometown as caregivers, army spouses, etc.)

What We Offer

• 100% remote / work from home
• Part time work with flexible hours
• Independent contractor role (not an employee)
• 300 per hour
• 10 hours per week initially, with the possibility to grow
