Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our outlets and online platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to analyse performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Analyse market trends, audience insights, and platform updates to inform strategy.
Content Creation and Management:
- Create engaging and high-quality content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to each social media platform.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across all social media channels.
Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews across social media platforms.
- Foster a positive and interactive online community by engaging with followers and addressing their queries and feedback.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyse social media performance metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic.
- Prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns to support marketing initiatives, promotions, and events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all social media content aligns with Roast's brand guidelines and messaging.
- Maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all social media channels.
Staying Updated:
- Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Experiment with new features and platforms to keep the brand's social media presence innovative and relevant.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and growing online communities.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in coffee shops or restaurants, is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Excellent content creation skills, with proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and generate insights.
