Job Description

Create a social media strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

o Define target audiences and tailor content to their interests and preferences.

o Choose the appropriate social media platforms for the brand.

o Develop engaging and relevant content, including text, images, videos, and graphics.

o Curate content from various sources to share with the audience.

o Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.

o Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.

o Foster conversations and build relationships with followers.

o Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues as needed.

o Attract new followers and grow the brand's online community.

o Collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach.

o Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns.

o Monitor and optimize ad performance to maximize ROI.

o Track social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

o Use analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts.

o Prepare regular reports to showcase performance and suggest improvements.

o Stay updated on industry trends and social media best practices.

o Adjust strategies to reflect changes in the digital landscape

o Handle social media crises and negative feedback with a calm and professional approach.

o Develop and implement crisis communication plans as necessary.

o Ensure brand messaging and visual identity remain consistent across all social media channels.

o Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and PR, to ensure a unified communication strategy.

o Develop and maintain a content calendar to plan posts and campaigns in advance.

o Manage the budget for paid social media campaigns and optimize ad spend

o Optimize social media profiles and content for search engines.

o Ensure integration with broader SEO and content marketing efforts.

o Ensure that all social media activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and platform policies.

o Stay innovative and test new ideas, formats, and features on social media platforms to keep the brand fresh and engaging.

o Monitor competitors social media activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
