Job Description

Job Role: Social Media Manager/Specialist

Experience: 2+ years

Industry: Edtech preferable

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Salary: As per market

Location: 100% Remote

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with K21 Academy's goals and target audience
  • Create detailed plans for campaigns, content, Calendars, and platform-specific strategies to achieve growth targets
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize strategies accordingly
  • Generate engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, videos, graphics, and interactive elements
  • Curate user-generated content and community contributions to foster engagement and authenticity
  • Implement tactics to increase followers, engagement, and community growth across all social media channels
  • Foster meaningful interactions with the audience through timely responses, engagement initiatives, and community management
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, marketing, sales) to align social media efforts with broader business objectives
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and platform functionalities
  • Participate in training sessions, webinars, and industry events to enhance skills and knowledge

You Should Apply If

  • You have a proven track record (2+ years) in social media management, demonstrating successful strategies and campaigns.
  • You have experience managing a team of 4 or more people, showcasing your leadership and collaboration skills.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms(Mainly YouTube), including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • You have a strong understanding of analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and LinkedIn Analytics, enabling you to track and analyze performance metrics effectively.
  • You are a team player, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • You are proactive and resourceful, willing to take on additional responsibilities and support your teammates as needed.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively convey ideas, strategies, and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
