Overview
The Social Media Manager plays a crucial role in planning, implementing, and monitoring the companys social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive sales.
Key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to optimize strategies and content.
  • Manage and oversee all social media accounts, including day-to-day activities and long-term strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media into overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and integrate them into the companys social media strategy.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Create and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure regular and consistent posting.
  • Identify and engage with social media influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and promote brand awareness.
  • Track and report on social media metrics, KPIs, and ROI to evaluate the success of social media efforts.
  • Manage social media budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all social media channels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful social media campaigns.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs and metrics, with the ability to interpret the results to improve strategy.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft high-quality and engaging content for social media.
  • Experience with social media advertising and a solid understanding of ad targeting and optimization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes proactively.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Professional certification in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management is a plus.
