BurdaLuxury is seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to manage and grow our social media channels, with a strong focus on Instagram and YouTube. This role requires an individual with 4-5 years of experience in social media strategy, art direction, production, sales growth, and SEO. The Social Media Editor will be responsible for crafting compelling social media content that aligns with our editorial goals and coordinating the production of content across various platforms. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the latest social media tools, trends, and platforms, and possess excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to grow audience engagement and reach.
- Lead the creation of editorial campaigns and IPs, working closely with the editorial team to produce deliverables for client campaigns.
- Ensure that social media strategies align with the overall editorial vision and brand voice of BurdaLuxury.
Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee art direction and production for social media content, including video production, photography, and graphic design.
- Collaborate with the editorial, video, and performance teams to produce high-quality, visually compelling content that drives engagement.
- Develop content calendars and ensure timely posting across all social media platforms.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to integrate social media strategies with broader business objectives.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to ensure that social media content aligns with the overall editorial calendar and publication schedule.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, content creators, and other media partners.
Analytics & SEO:
- Use social media analytics tools to track performance, optimize content, and inform future strategy.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance social media visibility and drive organic growth.
- Regularly report on key performance metrics to stakeholders.
Innovation & Trends:
- Stay ahead of industry trends, experimenting with new content formats, tools, and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging social media trends to drive audience growth and engagement.
