Saving Grains is a sustainability-driven project transforming brewer's spent grain into nutritious and delicious products like granola. We're on a mission to reduce food waste, support local breweries, and create a circular economy in Bangalore's food scene. As we grow, we're looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Intern to help us share our story and expand our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop engaging social media content (posts, stories, reels) aligned with our sustainability message and brand identity.
- Community Engagement: Interact with our online community, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a positive, supportive dialogue around upcycling and food sustainability.
- Strategy Development: Assist in creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
- Collaborations: Research and suggest potential influencers, local cafs, or brands to collaborate with on social media campaigns.
- Analytics: Track performance metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach, etc.) and provide insights to improve our social media strategy.
- Trend Research: Stay updated on social media trends, particularly in sustainability, food, and eco-conscious communities.
Qualifications:
- Passion for sustainability, food systems, and environmental advocacy.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and content creation tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar graphic design tools is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
