Job Description

  1. Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  2. Monitor social media channels for trending topics, relevant conversations, and engagement opportunities.
  3. Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences to optimize content performance.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
  6. Analyze social media metrics and compile reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to propose innovative ideas and strategies.
  8. Assist in the management of influencer partnerships and outreach efforts to expand our online reach.
  9. Support the development of multimedia content including graphics, videos, and GIFs for social media use.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall marketing objectives of the organization.

Requirements:
  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  2. Strong passion for social media and digital marketing with a keen understanding of various social media platforms.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  4. Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  5. Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  6. Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  9. Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track and analyze social media performance.
