Who We're Looking For: Social Media Associate/Manager
Key Responsibilities:-
YouTube Channel Management:
- Develop, curate, and manage all published content (videos, images, graphics).
- Optimize video content, titles, tags, descriptions, and thumbnails for SEO.
- Analyze YouTube Analytics to guide strategy and improve performance.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the content creation team to produce high-quality, SEO-optimized video content.
- Ensure proper keyword research and use for video optimization.
Engagement:
- Engage with our community in the comments, addressing questions, feedback, or potential issues.
- Collaborate with influencers and other potential partners to grow the channel's reach and credibility.
Content Strategy Development:
- Develop a YouTube content calendar in alignment with the company's goals.
- Track emerging trends on YouTube and integrate them into our strategy.
SEO Expertise:
- Perform continuous YouTube channel and video audits to ensure best practices in SEO are being applied.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest YouTube algorithm changes and SEO techniques.
Cross-Platform Strategy:
- Coordinate with other social media platforms to cross-promote and leverage content.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media platforms.
Reporting:
- Provide monthly/quarterly analytics reports on YouTube channel performance, growth, and engagement.
- Recommend actionable insights based on analytics.
What You'll Need:
- Proven 2-7 years of experience in managing a YouTube channel with a significant following.
- Deep understanding of YouTube SEO best practices.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with YouTube Analytics and SEO tools.
- Strong ability to work in a team and communicate with cross-functional departments.
- Creative mindset with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
