Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social media and Content Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our social media presence, managing various social media platforms, formatting datasheets and content into professional PDFs, and monitoring and managing marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
a) Social Media Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize our social media presence across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking to enhance social media performance.
- Create engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform to increase brand visibility and drive audience engagement.
- Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
b) Social Media Management:
- Manage day-to-day operations of our social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and posting.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive engagement with our audience.
- Monitor social media trends and industry developments to stay informed of best practices and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
- Plan, execute, and optimize social media advertising campaigns using platforms like AdWords.
- Monitor ad performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media advertising efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
c) Content Creation:
- Create and format datasheets, marketing collateral, and other content into visually appealing and professional documents (PDF, PowerPoint etc.).
- Ensure consistency in branding, layout, and design elements across all materials.
- Work closely with content creators and designers to optimize content for digital distribution and printing.
d) Campaign Monitoring and Management:
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on campaign performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement adjustments to campaigns in real-time to optimize performance and achieve campaign objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and campaign optimization.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools, content management systems, and graphic design software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and staying up to date on industry trends.
