We are looking for an experienced Manager/Sr. Manager in SoC Verification to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge SoC solutions.
As a Manager/Sr. Manager - ASIC SoC Verification you will play a key role in leading and managing a medium size SoC verification team. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on technical leadership with strategic team management, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality silicon
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage the Team: Direct a team of verification engineers, providing mentorship and leadership while driving a high-performance culture.
- Develop Reusable Verification Environments: Architect and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches for Subsystem, SoC designs, ensuring high coverage and reusability.
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, track progress, delegate tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of verification projects.
- Hands-On Technical Leadership: Participate actively in verification activities, Reusable SV/UVM testbench architecture, debugging, writing test plans, coverage plans, verification signoff, closures and implementing automation to improve workflows.
- Hiring & Mentorship: Lead hiring efforts, coach team members, and foster career growth through mentoring and training.
- Team Engagement & Performance: Foster a culture of collaboration, oversee employee engagement initiatives, and conduct performance reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 12 to 18 years of experience in ASIC/SoC Verification, with strong hands-on experience in developing verification environments using SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM.
- 3 to 5 years of Managing medium sized semiconductor Design Verification teams for IP/SS/SOC Level verification
- Testbench Architecture: Proven ability to architect and develop scalable, reusable verification environments for complex SoC designs.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading a team of verification engineers, delegating tasks, and balancing hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities.
- Project Management: Experience in project planning, task delegation, milestone tracking, and managing verification teams to meet deadlines.
- Hiring & Mentoring: Prior experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering talent to create a high-performing team.
- Verification Methodologies: Expertise in coverage-driven verification methodologies, testbench development, and functional/code coverage tracking.
- Hands-On Technical Skills: Strong debugging skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., simulation, waveform analysis).
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell) to automate verification tasks and improve productivity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-Silicon Validation or Emulation: Experience in post-silicon validation or working with emulation platforms.
- Formal Verification: Knowledge of formal verification techniques.
- Low-Power Verification: Familiarity with low-power verification methodologies.
- Mixed-Signal Verification: Experience with mixed-signal SoC verification.
