Job Title: Snowflake DBA

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 8-12 Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to database operations.
  • Implement data security, backup, and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
  • Optimize database queries and performance tuning for Snowflake workloads.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data pipelines are efficient and reliable.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Assist in migrating data from on-premises databases to Snowflake.
  • Stay up-to-date with Snowflake features and best practices to recommend improvements.

Preferred Skills

  • Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core Certification).
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation tasks.
