We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Data Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and efficiency and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Snowflake.
Integrate diverse data sources, ensuring data is correctly ingested, processed, and available for analysis.
Optimize database performance, including query performance tuning and resource management.
Ensure high levels of data quality and integrity through robust testing and validation processes.
Stay up-to-date with new Snowflake features and advancements to implement innovative solutions.
Python scripting
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Create and maintain knowledge base documentation of data workflows and technical specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
2-4 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Snowflake.
Proficiency in SQL and SnowSQL.
Experience with any ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, Airbyte, DBT etc).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with data warehousing and data lakes
Proficiency in Python
Good working knowledge of Snowpark libraries
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is required.
