The Sitecore Lead is a technology leader who will be responsible for Solutioning and Developing a global Web Experience Platform with Sitecore that provides relevant content, collaboration capabilities for consumers. The Lead has the key responsibility to build web sites, mobile apps etc. that meet the regional priorities while realizing the global platform vision. The Lead should strive to minimize customization while offering the right level of flexibility through configuration. As a hands-on expert, the Lead will ensure that the components and integrations are loosely coupled to be re-used across global implementations in a cost-effective way without compromising the business needs. This role will work with appropriate global teams to ensure compliance with the enterprise security guidelines.
Design, develop and implement new templates, components, and responsive web pages/sites in Sitecore to support the expansion of the core Sitecore platform. Support development and security standards while developing.
Ensure quality delivery by performing design reviews, code walkthroughs /
review to ensure adherence to standards and security guidelines.
Provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms. Create technical assessments, based on criteria including cost, security, vendor fit, alignment to objectives, reliability, and scalability
Perform root-cause analysis of application related incidents and help improve the status quo through innovative solutions.
Participate in requirements gathering to solidify requirements and determine the best technical solution to meet the business needs.
Drive improvements in engineering practices to optimize cost and quality
Maintain and evolve cultural awareness; act with global fluency. Adopt a test and learn, fail fast mindset with calculated risk taking.
Act as a disruptive change agent fluidly moving back and forth between transformation initiatives and day-to-day business as usual. Delivers right mix of operations, delivery, strategy, and innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's of Computer Science or a related field is required
8+ years of IT experience in the development of scalable consumer facing digital solutions (consumer websites, web applications, mobile sites etc.) in .NET/ C# / MVC with a key focus on performance, security, and scalability
3+ years of hands-on Sitecore solution development experience with Sitecore
versions 10.x
Good insight with front end development using JavaScript (jQuery plus Node, Angular, or React), CSS, and HTML required
Proven experience upgrading consumer facing websites from Sitecore 10.x is a plus
Proven experience setting up Sitecore xDB and Personalization features in Sitecore, Helix, Unicorn Sync is a plus.
Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is a plus
Strong experience with one of the search technologies is desired: SOLR (Cloud or On Prem), Lucene
Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures for optimal performance and/or maintainability Experience with SQL Server is a must
Proven experience working with integrations to SalesForce Marketing Cloud
Experience with HTML5, Bootstrap, Foundation for mobile/responsive design will be a plus
Good understanding data privacy and data protection regulations like GDPR is desirable
Experience working on an agile team adopting DevOps and CI/CD using! TFS/Azure DevOps
Experience with Cloud ecosystems including Azure, Sitecore Cloud or AWS is a plus
