Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Job Description:
7-9 years of experience as a Cloud native production environment Site Reliability Engineer (preferably AWS) supporting high-availability large-scale web-based applications
Experience with infrastructure & service monitoring and alerting
Experience with software releases, application observability and alerting
Extensive experience in System administration (Linux/Unix), Windows
Experience with Kafka, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Python.
Flexible to jump on to calls, and take ownership as necessary during system outages and incidents, and then participate in Incident Reviews once resolved.
Respond on-call to incidents with quick and effective resolutions and documentation.
Skill with mentoring and learning from other engineers: treating colleagues with respect, and guiding them through challenging tradeoffs to create scalable and reliable solutions.
Ability and internal drive to problem-solve: both creatively and pragmatically
Ability to scope, prioritize, estimate and deliver on project commitments
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information.
Relevant certification will be a plus.
