UiPath Apps is a low-code application platform that enables business users to build enterprise-grade applications. App studio comes with a drag-and-drop layout designer, an intuitive visual rule builder to define complex conditional logic, and an integration plug-and-play architecture to leverage the power of core UiPath platform.

The applications created by UiPath Apps are powered by AI enabled UiPath Platform with advanced workflow and business logic capabilities to automate your entire end to end business process.

You will research, design, and engineer next version of this platform, running at large scale. You will have the front row seat as we grow this platform to millions of businesses. You will be working alongside a world-class team and be responsible for defining the next generation of low-code.

About The Team:

  • You work with the SRE team which includes expert Software and System engineers who are custodians of Availability, Scalability and Performance of the SaaS products.
  • We build tools and frameworks to monitor, load test and sometimes build full platform features that other products use.
  • We undertake architecture reviews and help the individual product teams to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • We tend to look at the application from a system perspective bottom up rather than top-down.
  • Our engineers have the freedom to pick the challenges that they work on and own the task to completion.

What You'll Do At UiPath

  • You will be responsible for driving high availability, resiliency, performance, and business continuity of the Cloud services.
  • Work closely with the developers across cross functional teams, product management and program management teams at various stages starting from idea conceptualization till delivering it to the customer.
  • Create designs and solutions that can be leveraged by their broader team to implement product or technology strategies; help others to do the same.
  • Design for security, performance and availability.
  • Demand excellence in code quality by involving in code reviews and process standardisation helping a bigger team win.
  • Champion the adoption of open infrastructure management solutions that are fit for purpose yet forward our goals to keep technology relevant.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to improve service performance by just not throwing more hardware.
  • Continuous learner and effective engineering mindset.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • Hands-On Experience: Demonstrate 2-6 years of practical experience in software delivery and site reliability within commercial large-scale software organizations. Proficient in coding, debugging.
  • Coding and Debugging: Exhibit skills in coding and debugging to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Live Site Troubleshooting: Adept at troubleshooting live site issues and providing guidance to engineering teams to resolve them promptly.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Possess a good understanding of public cloud offerings such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience with distributed systems and micro-service-based architectures.
  • Containerization Skills: Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus, showcasing proficiency in containerization technologies.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Familiarity with IAC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or other cloud-agnostic IAC tooling.
  • CI/CD and Deployment Practices: Knowledge about CI/CD practices, deployment patterns, and relevant toolsets.
  • Monitoring and Automation: Strong background in monitoring, disaster recovery, and automation to enhance system reliability and resilience.
  • Observability Practices: Experienced in observability practices and toolchains, including monitoring, metrics, logging, alerts, and tracing.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Demonstrate an adaptive and collaborative mindset, combining excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with effective communication. Proactively engage in automating operational tasks, emphasize a commitment to continuous learning, and exhibit a strong attention to detail. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, contribute to capacity planning, respond adeptly to incidents, focus on system reliability, and maintain thorough documentation. Embrace an agile approach, consistently seeking opportunities for professional development and staying current with industry trends to optimize system performance and scalability.
