6 to 8 or more years of working experience of DevOps/Site reliability Engineering experience on Production Environment, Supporting complex, highly available applications.u00A0

u2022 Support and maintain the global application production environment with focus on continuous automation.u00A0

u2022 Install, configure, and upgrade custom and packaged applications.u00A0

u2022 Maintain production monitoring systems.u00A0

u2022 Solve performance and stability issues.u00A0

u2022 Candidate should have a good understanding of the Operating System concepts, mainly Linux.u00A0

u2022 Familiarity to DevOps methodologies and flair for building/exploring tools.u00A0

u2022 Respond to on-call (24/7 rotating shifts) incidents and be available for inquiries from staff, management and vendors. Provide technical assistance and support.u00A0

u2022 Working experience on Docker, Git, Amazon web services. Working knowledge on other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure will be preferred.u00A0

u2022 Experience with software containers, ex. Docker, Rkt, LXCu00A0

u2022 Knowledge of orchestration tools, ex. Apache Mesos/Kubernetesu00A0

u2022 Previous experience automating build and release processesu00A0

u2022 Previous experience consulting and working with customersu00A0

u2022 Hands on scripting experience in any of these python, ruby, perl, any other.u00A0

u2022 Experience setting up monitoring/logging systems and tools like Prometheus, NewRelic, Splunk, Graphanau00A0

u2022 Familiarity with configuration management tools like Chef/Ansible will also be an added advantage.u00A0

u2022 Sound OS conceptsu00A0

u2022 Experience in build and release process, tools like Jenkins.u00A0

u2022 Experience in working on managed DBs e.g RDS, Dynamo DBu00A0

u2022 A go getter who is capable of working with little to no guidance when it comes to DevOps.u00A0

u2022 Sound written and verbal communication skillsu00A0

u2022 Rapidly picks up new techniques, technologies, and concepts.u00A0

u2022 Participation in technical blogging, PoCs and community projects.u00A0
