Role & Responsibilities :

A Solar Site Engineer plays a crucial role in the development, design, installation, and maintenance of solar power systems on water bodies. Here are the typical roles and responsibilities associated with this position:

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Design and Planning:

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential solar projects.
• Design solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including the layout and electrical schematics.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical engineers to ensure the integrative design of the solar system.

1. Installation and Deployment:

• Oversee the installation of solar panels on water bodies such as lakes, reservoirs, and ponds.
• Supervise the anchoring and mooring system to secure the floating structure.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during installation.

1. Technical Analysis and Simulation:

• Perform technical analysis and energy yield simulations to optimize system performance.
• Use software tools for modeling and simulating the behavior of the solar PV system under different environmental conditions.

1. Project Management:

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports and compliance documentation.
