Job Description
The role requires travel across multiple sites throughout India for PV module testing, utilizing a mobile testing lab. Candidates must be open to nationwide travel as per the testing schedule. Apart from this following is the details Job responsibility.
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Solar PV projects with a focus on PV module testing.
Qualifications: Diploma or B.tech in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct PV module testing in line with defined test plans and datasheets, providing support to the testing engineer for the PV Module Mobile Test Lab.
- Analyze test performance and sample operations to accurately interpret test results.
- Record, explain, and document test results in comprehensive test reports.
- Communicate project status and outcomes as needed, ensuring adherence to the test plan, timely completion of reports, and overall project management.
- Assist in the examination of complex customer samples and learn to apply appropriate tests for each scenario.
- Understand relevant test standards and product technologies within the scope of responsibility.
- Operate and maintain complex testing equipment to measure and evaluate samples, ensuring proper maintenance of both the equipment and laboratory area.
- Perform complex equipment calibrations when required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of PV module testing both at the site and in the lab as per IEC 61215 standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
