Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer specializing in home interiors to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of interior design projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a keen eye for design.

• Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to develop detailed project plans.

Schedule and coordinate all on-site activities, including material deliveries and subcontractor work.

Site Management: Supervise and inspect all stages of interior construction and installation to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and resolve any issues that arise.

Quality Control:

• Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of craftsmanship and that materials used meet project specifications.

Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.

• Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, resolving any technical issues that may arise during the project.

• Interpret and apply technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Client Communication:

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project status, address any concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

Coordinate client site visits and walk-throughs to review project progress.

Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project costs to ensure that budgets are adhered to and identify any potential cost savings.

• Prepare and submit progress reports, cost estimates, and change orders.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety on site.

• Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the interior design or construction industry, specifically in residential projects.
