Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Summary:
Wow Constructions & Interiors is seeking an experienced and skilled Site Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in residential construction. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with design plans, safety standards, and timelines. Candidates must have a valid driver's license (DL) and a bike for site visits. A diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all aspects of residential construction projects on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor and ensure high standards of quality in all construction activities, from foundation work to finishing stages.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee material usage and ensure adequate stock of construction materials on-site.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing project schedules, timelines, and work progress reports.
- Resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, including work progress, material usage, and labor attendance.
- Liaise with the design team to address any modifications or changes required on-site.
- Conduct daily site visits to monitor and report progress to the Project Manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in residential construction as a Site Engineer or in a similar role.
- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques specific to residential projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards in construction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage site personnel and coordinate with project teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, solve on-site problems, and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
- Bike and valid Drivers License (DL) are mandatory for site travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with an interior design and construction firm.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
