Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Description

  • Manage and maintain construction activities at site in a safe manner as per HIRA & HSE plan
  • To ensure proper housing keeping and lighting in the assigned area. To give feedback on subcontractor performance and suggestion for development to seniors
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and quality standards in line with QAP, CONQUAS, method statements, approved makes and material
  • Conduct site investigations and analyse data and give report to inline Manager (reports, tests, drawings and other)
  • Coordination with planning team and go through the schedule for the project
  • Daily inspection & monitoring of all construction activities at site in line with approved schedule
  • Provide necessary updates to planning & management team incl. DPR and other reports
  • Assess potential risks, materials and costs
  • Facilitate contractor & Sub-contractor for necessary approvals and details required
  • Study of drawings, specification and BOQ and highlighting discrepancies if any to superior
  • Coordination with contractor, designer, operations and other departments for facilitating the works
  • Has to be ready to work in night shift as well.

Field Engineer Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a field-related role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge.
  • A versatile and service-oriented mindset.
  • Good understanding of safety guidelines.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Technically savvy and computer literate.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.
