Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Lead Technical Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a keen focus on leveraging AI. This role involves leading our technical efforts from customizing storefronts to developing bespoke Shopify apps, creating automation using AI, integrating various APIs, and managing databases with tools like Airtable and Make.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify apps tailored to business needs with a focus on AI integration.
• Implement automation processes to streamline operations using tools like Make.
• Integrate various APIs to extend website functionality.
• Manage Shopify product data in Airtable for efficient handling and automation.
• Manage backend databases to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies/industry trends, especially in AI, and apply them into operations and activities.

Essential Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Javascript, React, CSS, HTML, Git, and SQL.
• Experience with Shopify platform and ecosystem.
• Strong technical fundamentals with a focus on AI integration.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Airtable, Make, Python, Liquid, GraphQL, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Experience with other programming tools and languages as needed.
