We are looking for an experienced and passionate Shopify Expert to work alongside our innovative teams for both front-end and back-end development of the company website on the Shopify platform. You are perfect for this role if you are passionate about cars and the automotive/e-commerce industry.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform
- Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
- Knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
- Proficiency in front-end languages like JavaScript
- An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
- An ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time
- Great attention to detail and highly organized
- A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Customizing and developing an e-commerce site on the Shopify Plus platform
- Extending Shopifys functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc.
- Page speed optimization of Shopify sites Implementing SEO best practices in Shopify sites
- Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect responsive presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
- Working with version control systems such as GIT
- Working under tight deadlines
- Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail
