Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce solutions to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Shopify development and a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement custom Shopify themes, templates, and functionalities.

Develop and customize Shopify apps and extensions to enhance website features and performance.

Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify's core functionality.

Optimize website performance, page load times, and overall user experience.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.

Stay updated on the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices, and recommend enhancements accordingly.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio highlighting Shopify projects.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform architecture, Shopify APIs, Liquid programming language and Liquid Template Engines.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Shopify certification(s) is a plus.
