Job Description

Job Summary: The Shift Manager in our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to hotel guests. This position oversees daily operations during shifts, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and staff performance. The Shift Manager will lead the team, manage workflow, and maintain a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

o Lead and motivate team members during shifts, ensuring efficient service and teamwork.

o Schedule staff appropriately and manage labor costs within budget.

Customer Service Excellence:

o Ensure all guests receive outstanding service and prompt attention.

o Address customer inquiries and resolve any complaints with professionalism.

Operational Management:

o Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.

o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.

Training and Development:

o Train new staff on menu items, service techniques, and operational procedures.

o Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Sales and Financial Performance:

o Monitor sales and inventory levels, implementing strategies to maximize profitability.

o Assist in achieving sales targets and managing operational costs.

Problem Solving:

o Address any operational issues, staffing challenges, or guest complaints promptly.

o Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to improve service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum graduate degree or in Hotel management/Hospitality

Previous experience in a quick service restaurant or similar environment; supervisory experience is a plus.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
