Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team in Gurgaon. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our food and beverage service during designated shifts. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the establishment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during assigned shifts, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards.- Provide guidance and support to staff members, including training, coaching, and performance management.
Monitor the quality of service and address any issues or concerns that arise during the shift, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize wastage.
Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate important information, such as specials, menu changes, and operational updates.- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other managers and departments to optimize operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety and alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food and beverage service industry is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.- Knowledge of food and beverage products, service techniques, and industry trends.
Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be legally eligible to work in India.
