Role Overview: As a Shift Manager cum Barista Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise in cafe management and barista skills will empower our team to uphold Aubree's standards of excellence while delighting patrons with every sip and bite. Responsibilities: Shift Management: Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork among staff members during shifts. Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for every guest. Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction. Barista Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new and existing staff members on coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art. Provide personalized coaching to team members, refining their skills and fostering a passion for excellence in coffee craftsmanship. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, integrating new techniques and products into training modules as appropriate. Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to baristas, empowering them to reach their full potential. Collaborate with the management team to develop training materials and standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency across all Aubree locations. Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, willing to work varied shifts and travel to different locations as needed for training purposes. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs, maintaining a positive attitude and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in a cafe environment, with demonstrated proficiency in barista skills and cafe management. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Detail-oriented approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of shift management and barista training. Certification in coffee preparation and/or hospitality management is a plus.
