SHEET METAL OPERATOR AVIATION

Description

We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Operator Aviation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in the job market context of India and possess the necessary hard skills and qualifications to perform the job effectively.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the best way to fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts and products for aircraft
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using various hand and power tools such as shears, brakes, and rollers
• Operate and program CNC machines to cut and shape sheet metal parts with precision
• Weld, braze, or solder sheet metal parts together using various welding techniques
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and designers, to ensure projects are completed on time and to customer specifications

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly for aviation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as shears, brakes, and rollers
• Experience operating and programming CNC machines
• Proficiency in welding, brazing, and soldering sheet metal parts together
• Ability to inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in sheet metal fabrication preferred
