Position Description:
SharePoint Developer will be responsible to create customized SharePoint solutions for our company and clients. As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to requirement specifications, building scalable web applications, writing, and modifying code, debugging software, and demonstrate the implementations. You should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues., Build clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all design and functionality requirements.
Required experience and knowledge:
Mandatory:
- 1-3 years of experience working as a developer on SharePoint technologies
- Must possess an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of SharePoint Server, SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
- Working knowledge of configuration and custom development of SharePoint components including web parts, event receivers, timer jobs, templates, Features, application pages, site pages, custom list types, site columns, content types, custom workflows and site definitions and web development (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript/ jQuery)
- Hands on experience on SharePoint applications using Client and Server Object modelling
- Experience in analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications
- Strong Experience in troubleshooting SharePoint applications
- Strong knowledge of IIS, Anonymous Access, SharePoint configuration & administration, permissions and other security features
- Graduate in Computer Science or Engineering or similar educational qualification. Experience in setup, manage and troubleshoot dev, stage and production environment
- Experience using agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Willingness and ability to explore/learn new tools based on technology needs.
Nice to have:
- Experience in PowerShell scripting on SharePoint and automating tasks.
- Experience in Unit testing tools
- Experience/knowledge on any other technology like Dotnet, python.
