Rajashree Cement is one of the single largest cement plants with an installed capacity to produce 3.2 million tons of cement /annum with captive power plant (38.5 MW) and mines, employing approximately 1000 people. It manufactures a range of premium brand of cement and enjoys a reputation of giving value for money. It is one of the largest cement plant at a single location in the country. Rajashree Cement has opted for the Best World Class Technology equipment right from its inception.
The plant consists of 3 Lines, currently producing 2400, 3600 & 4300 tpd as against design of 2200. 3000 & 3500 tpd respectively.
The unit has about 1200 acre of land for Mines, plant & residential colony, has about 18 kms road, 10 kms boundary wall and about 950 quarters & public utility buildings. The land has black cotton soil which because of its expansion/contraction nature put pressure on roads/boundary wall and quarters results into their frequent damages.
problem is aggravated due to blasting in Mines & pile foundation in most of the buildings earlier made.The job is responsible for all the Civil/ related activities in colony to maintain up
keep colony & mines to the satisfaction of employees.
Major Challenges
Rehabilitation of aged high raise structures like U-I preheater, Raw mill, coal mill, to original strength.
Rehabilitation of Raw mill silo to original strength.

KRA1 Accountability:Civil maintenance:
Plan & Coordinate timely all the civil maintenance activities to keep the structures.
Buildings, roads in good and healthy conditions in plant. Organize action on emergency requirement in colony.
Get the requirement identified.
Organize & arrange resources.
Work order preparation.
Coordinate engineering & approval from Consultant.
Prepare estimates.
Plan and organize execution of work.
Inspect quality of work.
Monitor, progress & status of the jobs.
Kra2 Civil Capex Jobs
Plan, coordinate & timely execution of Capex jobs within budget allocated to meet the business objective. Coordinate with civil Designer, Consultant for design & approval.
Scheduling & prioritization of activities.
Organize implementation activities.
Inspect regularly for quality checks.
Monitor & progress.
Modify schedule as per priorities/revised targets.
Monitor the resources provided & required by contractor
Organize For Additional Resources Required.
Organize for work in any Measurement & Bill passing.
Coordinate with user departments.
KRA3 Capex Proposal Evaluation
Develop alternative proposals with cost estimates for the given jobs to control the cost. Develop schemes.
Identify alternatives.
Check feasibility at site.
Evaluate options.
Preparation of tender documents.
Preparation of estimates.
KRA4 Cost Control
Monitor & control all the cost of civil project & maintenance activities to avoid cost over runs. Monitor actual expenditure with budget.
Develop cost effective designs.
Control of manpower & over time.
Use of items from surplus inventory.
Monitor wastages.
Monitor quality to avoid repetition of job.
Plan use of machineries effectively.
Use of spill/waste cement in work
Use steel scraps.
KRA5 People Management
Build & sustain a conducive work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth and motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the unit. Performance assessment of subordinate.
