Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead and Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on Discovery, ITSM processes, and integration. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business and technical requirements while driving operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, Discovery, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Define and implement best practices, solution designs, and technical standards for ServiceNow applications.
  • Oversee end-to-end technical design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into ServiceNow configurations and solutions.
  • Lead the integration of ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and best practices.
  • Provide expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB (Configuration Management Database), and Service Mapping to ensure accurate and efficient data mapping and visualization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow platform performance and integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features and releases to provide recommendations for new functionality or optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration manuals, and integration guides.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development and implementation standards.
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand requirements and present technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration, development, and architecture.
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.), Discovery, and CMDB management.
  • Proven track record of ServiceNow integration with third-party applications (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Discovery configuration, including setting up probes, sensors, and data collections.
  • Experience designing and implementing end-to-end ServiceNow solutions for enterprise-level customers.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, etc.).
  • Experience in ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.
  • Certifications:
  • Certification Mandate: CIS ITSM or CIS Discovery (one of these certifications is required).
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS Cloud Management, CIS Security Incident Response) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks, particularly related to Service Management.
  • Expertise in CMDB, Service Mapping, and Discovery capabilities in ServiceNow.
  • Proficient with ServiceNow Studio, Orchestration, and Flow Designer.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, REST APIs, and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and patching.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and guiding junior staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cloud Management, Security Incident Response, or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network topology, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
