Position Title: ServiceNowIT Asset Management Specialist (SAM)
Location: Offshore(Hybrid)
Years of Experience: 4+ years of experience
Client is looking those candidates who have done HAM/SAM Implementations in ServiceNow not experience in HAM/SAM Procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Asset Management:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.
- Implement and maintain best practices for IT asset management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
ServiceNow HAM & SAM Implementation:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules in ServiceNow.
- Customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, and reports to meet organizational needs.
- Integrate HAM and SAM processes with other ITSM modules within ServiceNow.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure software licensing compliance, track license usage, and avoid over-licensing or under-licensing.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to mitigate risks associated with IT assets.
Asset Optimization:
- Analyze asset data to identify opportunities for cost savings, asset reutilization, and optimization.
- Implement strategies for effective asset procurement and management.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and other departments to align asset management strategies with organizational goals.
- Provide training and support to teams on IT asset management best practices and ServiceNow usage.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards to monitor asset performance, compliance, and financial impact.
- Present findings to senior management and recommend improvements.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, with a focus on HAM & SAM.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing HAM & SAM modules within the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, software licensing, and compliance.
Skills:
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, particularly in HAM and SAM modules.
- Excellent understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
