Overview
Required - Foundational certifications in ServiceNow administration, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent./Implementation experience and certifications in HRSD / Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, including JavaScript and Jelly/Experience with ServiceNow integrations, API usage, MID Server configuration, and management/Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on ServiceNow HRSD implementations/Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders/Extensive technical process experience in ITSM, HR Case Management, HCM, Employee Lifecycle/Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute technically to HRSD projects/Familiarity with Cloud services and their integration with ServiceNow (desired)
The Servicenow HSRD Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support the organization's IT Service Management functions. This role is essential for ensuring that ServiceNow applications and modules are aligned with business requirements, compliance standards, and best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow solutions and applications to meet business requirements and enhance IT Service Management capabilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform
- Create and customize ServiceNow modules and applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other technical tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications
- Implement and configure ServiceNow ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Fulfillment Management
- Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades, enhancements, and optimizations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
- Provide technical expertise and support for ServiceNow platform-related issues and incidents
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging for ServiceNow solutions and applications
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices
- Participate in Agile development methodologies and practices
- Train and support end-users and stakeholders in utilizing ServiceNow applications and features
- Monitor and optimize ServiceNow performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT Service Management processes and practices
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants on ServiceNow platform integrations and customizations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow modules and applications
- In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and security principles
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems and applications
- Knowledge of ServiceNow performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Understanding of ITIL framework and its application in ServiceNow solutions
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
