Job Title:ServiceNow Functional Analyst

Duration:Fulltime

No. of Positions: 1

Location:India / Remote

Note: Required candidates to join with 30 days notice period.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • 5-6 yrs of experience.
  • Shift timings 2pm to 11 pm IST (40 hrs week full time resources) should be available for on-call rotation during critical project releases and hyper-care times.
  • As a ServiceNow Functional Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to understand and analyze client needs, design ServiceNow solutions, and guide the implementation and configuration of the platform.
  • You will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into functional requirements for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Solution Design: Design and propose ServiceNow solutions that align with client requirements and best practices, considering the out-of-the-box capabilities of the platform.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform based on the defined functional requirements, including forms, workflows, user roles, UI policies, and data integrations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the ServiceNow platform and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure smooth implementation and successful delivery of ServiceNow projects. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations and customizations to ensure they meet the defined functional requirements and quality standards.
  • Training and Documentation: Prepare training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users on ServiceNow functionalities and processes. Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Change Management: Support change management activities, including impact assessments, communication plans, and user adoption strategies, to ensure smooth transitions during ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.
  • Stay Updated with ServiceNow: Continuously enhance your knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, new features, and industry best practices. Stay informed about ServiceNow releases and roadmap updates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a ServiceNow Functional Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, process analysis, and solution design within the ServiceNow framework.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into practical ServiceNow solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and preparing user documentation.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), are a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and processes is highly desirable.
