We are hiring a ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer to join our India team in support of a large global client! This is an amazing opportunity to work on a team supporting the largest ServiceNow implementation in the world. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who provide the development of project professional services for customers.
The Senior Software Engineer will implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale, complex professional services projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements.
- Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and techniques.
- Contribute to writing test scripts and complete unit testing.
- Facilitate and mentor across multiple projects and teams.
- Provide technical expertise in code writing and reviews.
- Collaborate with the delivery team and other engineers to understand, estimate, prioritize, and implement requests for development and project requirements.
- Apply modern technology and innovation to improve platform functionality.
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by providing administration, development, and support during the implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring Along:
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles for cloud-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow functionalities and features of IRM, SecOps, and BCM.
- Solid knowledge of glide record usage, XML, and structural programming concepts.
- Proficient in JavaScript.
- Excellent understanding of core object-oriented programming with hands-on experience developing for and/or customizing the ServiceNow Platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risk.
- Strong leadership capabilities.

Education:
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or demonstrated work experience.
Certifications & Knowledge: The candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond. It is expected that the candidate will be able to complete ServiceNow competency Certifications as well as Module Accreditations.
