Job Description : ServiceNow Developer
Position Overview : We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our innovative IT team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in implementing and customizing the IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules of ServiceNow. Additional experience with the Customer Service Management (CSM) module is a plus. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of overall IT experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience specifically in ITSM and ITOM modules on the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Customization: - Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for ITSM and ITOM modules based on business requirements.
- Customize and configure workflows, forms, scripts, and UI policies to enhance the functionality of ITSM and ITOM modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
System Administration and Support:
- Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user and group management, configuration changes, and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor system performance and optimize as needed to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and best practices to continuously improve the platform.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with the ITSM and ITOM modules of ServiceNow.
- Experience with the CSM module is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and customizing ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow's proprietary scripting language.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including workflow automation, service catalog, reporting, and performance analytics.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with other enterprise systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM and/or ITOM is highly preferred.
