JOB PURPOSE:You will take responsibility by ensuring the smooth running of ServiceNow and act as a developer who is comfortable with operational support as well as executing on multiple projects within a dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Team up with developers, architects, and technical team leads to rapidly learn a complex operational system, its subsystems, and components to positively contribute to developments; Hands-on architecture, design, development, and deployment within the ServiceNow platform; Administration (including Reporting, Dashboard, Performance Analytics, Email Notifications, Creating and Editing Home pages, Personalizing forms etc.); Own daily administration & support of COFCO's ServiceNow instances; Provide swift and proactive resolution of operational problems reported by ServiceNow users; Build and support the integration of 3rd party systems with ServiceNow; MID server, web services (SOAP and REST), email and other relevant integration technologies; Create and maintain API and data integration between ServiceNow and other services; Transform and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems; Utilize scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to automate tasks within ServiceNow; Complete any development and testing tasks related to ServiceNow releases; Monitor ServiceNow performance and processes to stay within the stablished KPIs; Contribute to COFCO's IT's overall ITSM, SPM, PA, GRC, ITOM and CSM strategy and roadmap; Ownership of reported problems updating the status and communicating progress in a timely manner; Deliver operational tasks on incident, request, problem and change management processes; Follow and ensure that appropriate standards and best practices are adhered to; Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards; Establish security measures to protect ServiceNow systems and information infrastructure; Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause following security standards; Stay current on ServiceNow security trends and news; Follow company-wide best practices for IT security; Document technical knowledge in Knowledge Base.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree within IT area; ServiceNow CSA Certification (mandatory); Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and ITSM, SPM, ITOM and PA disciplines are required; Service now implementation experience including Service Catalogs, CMDB & Hardware/Software Asset Management; Client Side and Server-Side Scripting (Ex. Catalog Client Script, Portal Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, etc.); Client and Server API's (Ex. GlideDialogWindow, Glide Form (g_form), Glide Aggregate, GlideRecord, etc.); HTML/CSS/AJAX, AngularJS, UI Pages, Jelly, and ACL knowledge and debugging; Transform MAP, Scheduler, Connection with other databases/instances, Webservice; Agile/Scrum development methodologies; At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the development, and administration of production and non-production ServiceNow instances; English and Hindi (mandatory).Desirable: ServiceNow CAD Certification.And one or more of the below: ServiceNow CIS SPM Certification; ServiceNow CIS ITOM Certification; ServiceNow CIS ITSM Certification; ServiceNow CIS GRC/IRM Certification;
