Position Title: ServiceNow Platform Architect
Location: Offshore(Hybrid)
Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory services for technical governance and processes related to ServiceNow.
- Help develop standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture model and platform health.
- Provide technical evaluation of demands against the ServiceNow platform architecture, capabilities, and best practices.
- Ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions through architectural controls.
- Assess instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow HealthScan.
- Serve as the key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ServiceNow across products.
- Provide day-to-day direction and technical coordination of DevOps teams.
- Act as the escalation point for unresolved technical issues.
- Monitor deviations from ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) solutions and best practices.
- Provide overall guidance and structure for creating and maintaining designs for the main services, ensuring required business outcomes.
- Act as an advisory to a small team of Technical Architects.
- Ensure that designs created by the team align with ServiceNow architecture principles and are reusable, reliable, and adaptive.
- Provide a technical gateway between the initial designs agreed upon in sales conversations through to the delivery cycles.
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including architecture, capabilities, and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Jelly scripting.
- Platform Integration: Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and MID Servers.
- Architectural Principles: Strong understanding of architectural principles and their application within ServiceNow.
- Health Assessment: Experience conducting health assessments using tools like ServiceNow HealthScan.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to direct and coordinate DevOps teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to act as an escalation point for unresolved technical issues.
- Design and Development: Experience in ensuring design alignment with architectural principles and technical standards.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with technical architects, developers, and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in ServiceNow System Administration or Application Development.
- Experience with additional scripting languages and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
