Job Description:
- Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other lift systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment functionality and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with elevator systems.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components.
- Respond to emergency service calls to address elevator malfunctions promptly.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- ITI or diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an elevator technician apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training preferred.
- Prior experience working as an elevator service technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
