Role:- ServiceNow Architect / Consultant

Location:- Bangalore , Pune , Coimbatiore.
Client is seeking a ServiceNow ITSM SME to join the Service Platform Team within the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) team. The ServiceNow platform team is responsible for delivering and governing changes / enhancements / implementations of Processes and capabilities that align with business capabilities at Client.
The ServiceNow SME will be responsible for solution design, implementation, development and supporting the Application / functionalities on ServiceNow platform and ITSM Process. This role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for ServiceNow platform and implementations. Works closely with other technology SMEs to build and maintain solutions as well as support the already implemented ServiceNow solutions. Designs, develops, and implements custom solutions to achieve business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ServiceNow solution design, suggestion, and implementation of business requirements.
- Understands technical and functional design requirements for ServiceNow.
- Architect, design and integrate ITSM process that can leverage the ServiceNow platform
- Provides High Level Design and technical solutions for ServiceNow implementation.
- Design and implement Integrations with ServiceNow with 3rd party tool using REST and other available API capabilities.
- Design, Architect and implement Automation workflows using ServiceNow Orchestrator.
- Understands the ServiceNow workflow / Integration Hub.
- Create prototypes for client engagements & design / demo POC for new ServiceNow features.
- Proactively identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions and work on ServiceNow performance improvements.
- Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively, collaborate with other teams as applicable.
- Contributes appropriately to conversations and assumes additional responsibility proactively. in
- Participates in platform upgrade planning, testing, and validation.
- Hands on Scripting knowledge for customizations / enhancements / implementations.
- Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements, flow charts and technical diagrams.
Qualifications And Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline and at least 6 to 10 years of relevant experience working on ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience in documenting solution approached and solution diagrams using tool such as MS-Visio.
- Hands-on experience with Glide Script, JavaScript, XML, JSON and Web Service APIs. Ability to understand & parse XML, JSON, and other data formats.
- Hands-on Experience & understanding of ITSM Service catalog and service portal .
- Exposure to provide L4 support for production issues and support to junior developer as and when needed.
- Should have prior experience in integrating tools in ServiceNow or other similar tools using MidServer, web services, Integration Hub, email etc....
- Subject matter expertise for ServiceNow platform capabilities and applications such as ITSM design and solution, CMDB, ITBM etc...
- Should understand ServiceNow architecture, access control mechanism and Understanding of Software as a Service / Platform as a Service.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Certifications Preferred:
- Should be trained & certified on ITIL 4 foundation.
- Certified Systems Administrator and (preferably) Certified Implementation Specialist.
