Position Title:Service Now Developer
Experience Required: 4-7+ Years
Location:Mangalore / Mysore
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Systems developer is responsible for Ownership of end-to-end product life cycle, including business needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, requirements gathering, and functional specification all the way through to end-user enablement and success.
Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, upgrades, and Optimisation.
Laise with key stakeholders to explore and suggest appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features as well as monitoring technical progress against plans, whilst safeguarding functionality, scalability, and performance.
Write unit and integration tests, within test environments to ensure code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve problems raised with existing systems (de-bugging / reverse engineering).
Design smart ways of storing and displaying complex data.
Support, maintain and develop in-house systems to meet changing business needs.
Drive and enhance the deployment process on all environments.
Manage instance security including MFA, permissions, ACLs, role-based access.
Strive for strong maintainability, manageability, and upgradability through minimising nonOOTB solutions.
Assist in defining the team's technical strategy and advise on product roadmaps and migration plans to achieve strategic goals.
Undertake scripting and development of OOTB and custom features and solutions (JavaScript: both server and client-side Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages).
Skills Set:
Experience in the Managed Service Provider, Internet Service Provide or Telecoms industry
Experience with ServiceNow with Integrations with SOAP/ Rest API's
Working with controlled code repository (GIT , SVN)
Experience of working with and supporting databases/ Integrations
Unit testing including mocking and behavioural testing
Building and deploying scalable, secure code releases
Implementation of corporate applications / platforms
Agile / Scrum Methodology
Experience in Incident and Request Management
Required Skills Set:
ServiceNow Config / Dev
SQL Server DBA or similar role
Web services, both SOAP and RESTful services
NET framework.
MVC and .NET Core.
Working with controlled code repository (GIT, SVN)
Unit testing including mocking and behavioural testing
Core ServiceNow modules and applications
Key technologies relevant ServiceNow integration solutions.
