Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team at P-MACMACHINES PVT LTD. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the Metal Cutting, Sheet Metal, and Wood Panel Processing industries. This is a full-time position based in Cochin, Kerala, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's / Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in servicing and maintaining industrial machines
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• Knowledge of metal cutting, sheet metal, and wood panel processing industries is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission metal cutting, sheet metal, and wood panel processing machines at customer sites
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for machine-related issues
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance of machines
• Conduct training sessions for customers on machine operation and maintenance
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
• Document service activities, including installation reports, service reports, and customer feedback
