Job Description

Job Summary:

The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating service operations to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. This role involves scheduling service appointments, dispatching service technicians, maintaining service records, and acting as a liaison between customers and the service team.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments and dispatch service technicians.
Monitor and manage the service calendar to optimize technician productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service delivery by coordinating with customers and service technicians.
Customer Service:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests and inquiries.
Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates on service appointments and job status.
Technical Support:
  • Assist service technicians with technical inquiries and provide support as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical information and warranty claims.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and service procedures to effectively support the service team.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales, operations, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to new service team members as required.
  • Qualifications:

Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a service coordinator or similar role, preferably in the generator sales and service industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using computer software and systems for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
  • Knowledge of generator systems and maintenance procedures is preferred.
