Job Description

Overview:

The SEO On-Page Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding the on-page SEO team to enhance the search engine rankings and user experience of the company's web pages. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and optimization of on-page SEO strategies. The team leader collaborates with various departments to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and drives the continuous improvement of SEO performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage the on-page SEO team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with the company's SEO strategy.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive on-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to inform SEO strategies.
Work with senior management to align SEO initiatives with overall business goals.
  • On-Page Optimization:
Conduct in-depth on-page audits to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee the optimization of website elements, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, images, and internal linking.
Ensure the proper use of HTML tags, such as H1, H2, H3, etc., to improve content structure and SEO performance.
  • Content Strategy:
Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
  • Guide the team in optimizing existing content for target keywords and enhancing user engagement.
Provide keyword recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Technical SEO:
Oversee the identification and resolution of on-page technical issues, such as broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
  • Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and optimized for fast loading speeds.
Implement and manage schema markup to improve search engine understanding of website content.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor and report on website performance using analytics tools.
  • Track key metrics such as organic traffic, bounce rate, conversion rate, and keyword rankings.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve SEO performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with web developers to implement on-page SEO recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all projects.
Communicate SEO strategies, progress, and results to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and other departments on SEO best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments.
Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in on-page SEO.
  • Proven track record of leading successful SEO projects and managing a team.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Reporting:
  • Reports to the Head of Digital Marketing, SEO Director, or another designated senior manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,
  • 77 - 45,485.68 per month
